Technology in the classroom is so important in any classroom but especially in the special education classrooms. Motivation is often an issue with special education students and using technology to teach eliminates this problem greatly and helps students learn without thinking they are studying. These new resources have been a game changer for our classroom—they help students regulate their emotions, stay engaged during lessons, and build social and communication skills in a fun, meaningful way.\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a student who typically struggles with transitions calmly use a sensory toy to self-regulate and rejoin group activities with confidence. Moments like that remind me just how powerful the right tools can be.\r\nThanks to these new items, our classroom feels even more inclusive and supportive for children with special needs.
