This will be my first year teaching in person, and I am super excited to create a fun and supportive classroom where my students can thrive! For me, teaching is all about meeting students where they are and giving them the tools and community to soar inside and outside of the school building. So while my students are learning their letter sounds to become stronger readers and writers, they are also collaborating with their peers to solve problems and advocating for their own needs. While my students are analyzing the life cycle of a frog, they are also sharpening their fine motor skills by creating their own dioramas. My students are incredible, and they are more than capable of so many things. I cannot wait to give my students the classroom they deserve!
