However, I found that it just wasn't enough. My students were coming to school with more needs that I had resources, and so I put together this grant to help support my students in this area. My class grew so much this year, and I am proud to share that they are (almost) ready for the challenges of kindergarten and armed with some social-emotional tools in their little tool belts, thanks to the support of the DD2 Foundation and the materials included in this grant. \r\nThank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for this support, and for all the many ways the the DD2 Foundation supports classrooms throughout DD2. Students are learning that stories can be both funny and thoughtful, and that strong characters help us better understand ourselves and others.\r\nReading in our classroom is filled with laughter, discussion, and connection. Having a class set means every student can follow along, reread favorite parts, and actively participate in partner talks and group discussions. Digital tools such as laptops, tablets, and online learning platforms allow students to access information instantly and study from almost anywhere. Educational websites, videos, and virtual classrooms give students the opportunity to learn at their own pace and review materials as many times as needed. Technology also allows teachers to use multimedia presentations, simulations, and interactive activities that make lessons more engaging and easier to understand.\r\n\r\nIn addition, technology helps students and teachers communicate and collaborate more effectively. Online platforms allow teachers to share assignments, provide feedback quickly, and track student progress. Students can work together on projects and video calls even when they are not in the same location. These tools not only improve organization and communication but also help students develop important digital skills that are necessary for future careers in an increasingly technology-driven world.\r\n\r\nChargers are beneficial for laptops because they provide the power needed for the device to function and stay operational for long periods of time. Laptops rely on rechargeable batteries, and chargers allow users to refill that battery when it runs low or keep the laptop powered while it is in use. This makes it possible for students to complete their assignments. Chargers also help extend the usability of laptops by ensuring they can be used throughout the day without worrying about the battery dying.","fullyFundedDate":1755271339641,"projectUrl":"project/chargers-for-ms-barczak/9582564/","projectTitle":"Chargers for Ms. Barczak","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Barczak","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9995917"},{"teacherId":7449506,"projectId":9909003,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness in supporting our special education classroom.
