For example, during a recent writing workshop, students used the new pens and notebook paper to draft personal narratives. They were excited to have fresh materials that made their work feel important and official. The erasers and pencil-top erasers were especially helpful during peer editing sessions—students felt more confident making corrections and revisions, knowing they could easily correct mistakes. During a science group activity, students used the dry-erase markers on small whiteboards to brainstorm ideas and share findings with the class. The classroom doorbell has been a game-changer for transitions—when it rings, students know exactly what to do, and it has helped us maintain focus and flow throughout the day. Even the lunch bags are being used to keep center materials organized, which has improved overall classroom management and reduced distractions.\r\nThe students were thrilled when they first saw the new materials! Their faces lit up with excitement as we unboxed everything together. Many of them asked, \"Are these really for us?\" and were amazed by the variety of supplies. They immediately started using the erasers and pens, testing them out and even showing them off to their classmates. One student said, \"Now I don't have to worry about running out of paper during writing time!\" Another student was so excited about the classroom doorbell that they volunteered to practice transitions so that we could try it out. The excitement in the room was contagious, and the new resources have truly boosted their motivation and sense of ownership over their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1746699617438,"projectUrl":"project/empower-learning-help-equip-our-classr/9202930/","projectTitle":"\"Empower Learning: Help Equip Our Classroom for Success!\"","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ruben","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5958757_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538938237702","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ronzone3rdgradeclass"},{"teacherId":9379034,"projectId":9284404,"letterContent":"We are incredibly grateful for the generous donations that allowed us to receive a Cricut machine for our school.
