Our classroom has whiteboard desks and chairs on wheels to promote collaboration. As our classes have grown, our chairs have become worn out and we did not have enough functional seats for all our students. We have been able to utilize it in more ways than I could have imagined. In addition to being able to print library cards, I have printed informational materials that I shared with parents during our most recent parent-teacher conference day, I was able to make an author display that got students interested and led some to come in and look for books, and I was able to print study materials for some of our dual credit students.\r\n\r\nTo reach an even greater impact, I decided to have the printer set up in our writing center. With the wireless capabilities, I could still print my materials, but this way students are able to also print their written work to help them work with the writing consultants. Students are also able to come to the writing center to get scholarship essays and college application essays printed.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped us support students in more ways than I imagined when I first put together this project.
