Field trips can be a vital part of the instructional program and should be considered as a means of enriching the curriculum. But taking full classes of high school students studying Education Professions into other school buildings only gives them the chance to observe or at best tutor a small group of students for a short period of time. For students who desire a more direct hands-on approach to honing their skills as an effective future educator having opportunities to role-play various classroom situations in a professional simulation center in their own school is the most desirable and viable option.
