The folders helped each student keep track of their notes, assignments, and progress, building stronger habits around responsibility and time management.\r\n\r\nThe hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes became a part of our daily routine, especially during labs. Students took turns cleaning their lab tables and supplies, learning the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment—something especially vital in a hands-on science class. These small actions became part of our classroom culture.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're continuing with collaborative group projects that require us to move desks around—now made easier thanks to the furniture pads you helped provide. It has been a dream of mine to start an electric strings club/program at my school. These instruments are extremely expensive and would have taken us years to fundraise for. \r\n\r\nI got to pull the instruments out and show students the differences between an acoustic versus an electric instrument and how they produce sound. We have a whole lesson coming up soon that will go more in depth on this. This students are extremely excited to get their hands on these instruments to try them out. At the moment we can only amplify one instrument at a time but we are actively working towards fixing that. My top performing group will hopefully get to perform on these instruments for their winter concert in December.\r\n\r\nParents and students got to see our electric instruments during open house and the response was an overwhelming amount of excitement for the program which has helped push me to make sure these instrument are being used in lessons and performances throughout the year.","fullyFundedDate":1752586584589,"projectUrl":"project/music-in-stem-using-electric-instrument/9445266/","projectTitle":"Music in STEM: Using Electric Instruments to Make Lasting Connections","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Didas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10070211_orig.jpg?crop=151,151,x0,y121&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752440530303","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/didasorch"},{"teacherId":10070211,"projectId":9445351,"letterContent":"Thank you again for supporting my students!
