It is my philosophy in my classroom that all students have the right to be educated in a safe and nurturing environment. They have the right to be given respect and treated with dignity regardless of their diverse disabilities. I believe it is my responsibility to provide my students with experience which will better assist them in developing personal, social, occupational, daily living and academic skills that will allow them to cope with the challenges that face them as individuals in a complex and changing world. Students with diverse disabilities learn in a unique fashion. These items will give my students what they need to learn in the classroom and apply to real life scenarios. At times, students require reinforcement to encourage and motivate them in reaching their goals.
