Help me give my students fidget toys, markers, a rug, lamp, label maker, pencil boxes, and other essentials they need to become better readers in a safe and quiet space. The Relax Pillow allows students a comfortable space during silent sustained reading. Students have suffered extreme deficits in reading during COVID. My goal is to create a place where students feel comfortable and safe to read books of their choosing. The carpet, bookcase, pillows and lamp will allow students to have the quiet space they deserve. This reading nook will also allow small group reading interventions for students who need one-on-one support. The markers will be put to good use for projects students will create from the books they are reading. I am asking for your support with these materials/supplies in order to help our children become better readers, as well as to develop the desire to continue reading in the future. Thank you!
