Each resource has helped with daily jobs and tasks within our classroom to continue to put an emphasis on life skills and promoting independency. The mini fridge has allowed us to make more space for faculty drinks when we run Drink-Cart deliveries and before that, the Dawn spray soap sets our class up to clean cafeteria tables daily!\r\n\r\nAs for academics, we were able to order 36 clear containers where we could make small task boxes for math, reading and science that our students will utilize every week. This makes learning more fun and especially organized when you are managing 1 on 1 individualized instruction. \r\n\r\nAnd lastly, the other big ticket item was supplying our classroom with more noise-cancelling headphones. We have students with sensory issues that rely on these headphones to help mitigate the sounds they are hearing. Now that we have more, we no longer have to make it work with sharing headphones.
