We all want hands-on and immersive learning experiences. When my students get to actively engage in their learning, they better understand themselves and the world around them. These Oculus VR headsets will afford my students the opportunity to experience places that they likely would never have the opportunity to. From visiting important locations in history for my AP US History classes to virtual college tours in my AVID class, students will have unique and immersive educational experiences. Virtual reality is an excellent way to foster exploration and curiousity in an immersive environment. My students will thrive when given the opportunity to explore historical locations and prepare for future success. I'm very excited to immerse themselves in history.
