During these past 2 years, we have had a great struggle keeping kids who are quarantined, or sick at home up-to-speed with their academics and their involvement in extracurriculars. Kids have felt left out when they return, and are stuck in an endless game of catch-up. Students want to participate in their classes and teams. As history teachers and athletic coaches, we came up with this plan to help students achieve this when they are stuck at home. This camera will be used to provide footage via recorded video, or in real-time of their classes and their team practice and games. Students will be able to see what happened in and out of the classroom on the days that they missed: What lessons were delivered, what football formations and plays were worked on, what basketball drills were done, and can stay caught up so that they can do their best when they return.
