The ability to rehearse and re-record also supported students who were hesitant to speak, turning practice into progress they could hear.\r\n\r\nHeadphones and peer-created podcasts also built connection and belonging. Listening to English-speaking peers helped students learn authentic language, feel included, and better understand their new environment.
