This year, I will help to shape the future of 165 students as we navigate through the concepts of mathematics. Over 90% of my students receive free or reduced lunch because of their socioeconomic status and a lot of them have various learning disabilities that inspires me to find ways of bringing needed resources into the classroom to help bridge the gap. My heart breaks when I hear some of the things that happen in their neighborhood and my class is a happy place. I am believing Donorschoose can help me to provide them access to working technology, resources for their specific learning needs, basic supplies, and a more visually engaging learning environment. Most of these things are taken for granted, but they would be a lifeline for us. My students couldn't pick the zip code they live and go to school in, but with your help and access to the needed resources it won't matter as much. We truly need your support.
