The students' faces absolutely lit up when I first brought it out — there was a mix of gasps, cheers, and excitement bouncing all around the gym. \r\n\r\nWe've been using the parachute in so many fun and creative ways — from teamwork challenges like \"Mushroom Pop,\" where everyone lifts together to make the parachute rise high, to fitness games that work on upper body strength and cooperation. Even my youngest students are learning about rhythm and timing as we move together to music. It's been such a powerful tool for teaching teamwork, communication, and joy through movement.\r\n\r\nOne special moment that stands out was during our \"Parachute Waves\" activity. The entire class had to work together to make a \"storm\" and then calm it back down. Seeing every student — including those who can sometimes be shy or hesitant — fully engaged and smiling was incredible. The parachute truly brought our whole group together.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using the parachute as part of our upcoming Resiliency and Grit lesson, where students will have to cooperate and stay positive through teamwork challenges. It's not just fun — it's helping them build confidence, persistence, and unity.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made a lasting impact on our PE program, and I can't thank you enough for bringing this joy and energy into our gym.","fullyFundedDate":1752686628843,"projectUrl":"project/torn-but-not-forgotten-time-for-a-new-p/9373848/","projectTitle":"Torn but Not Forgotten: Time for a New Parachute","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Jami","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10013854_orig.jpg?crop=784,784,x0,y190&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746480433340","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10013854"},{"teacherId":10013854,"projectId":9319640,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for funding my project! Because of your generosity, my students have had the opportunity to learn, play, and grow through exciting new PE stations that are already making a big impact in our class.\r\n\r\nThe Rhino Foam No-Bounce Balls were an instant favorite. We used them in a golfing station, and the larger size made them much easier for my young students to strike successfully. The fact that they don't bounce has been perfect for safety and skill development—students were more confident trying again and again.\r\n\r\nThe scoop and ball sets have become a go-to for practicing manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination. I have seen students who usually hesitate during PE light up with excitement as they figured out how to toss and catch with the scoops. This activity has been wonderful for building both coordination and confidence.\r\n\r\nFor my primary students, the magnetic building set has been a great addition to our \"building station.\" Combined with large Legos and buckets, it allows students to be creative and collaborate with one another. It has been amazing to watch them problem-solve, construct new shapes, and share their creations proudly.\r\n\r\nThe toss and catch ball sets have also been a huge success. They give students an engaging way to practice throwing and catching, and I've noticed a lot of smiles and laughter during this activity. It has been especially helpful for students who are still developing basic coordination skills.\r\n\r\nAll of these resources have allowed me to design engaging stations that not only help students develop physical skills but also encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. I am so grateful for your support—it has truly elevated the learning and joy in my PE class.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students, thank you again for making this possible. Your generosity has given them tools to grow stronger, more confident, and more excited about movement and learning.","fullyFundedDate":1746786079820,"projectUrl":"project/teamwork-in-action-pe-equipment-for-eve/9319640/","projectTitle":"Teamwork in Action: PE Equipment for Every Student","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Jami","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10013854_orig.jpg?crop=784,784,x0,y190&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746480433340","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10013854"},{"teacherId":6698774,"projectId":9274298,"letterContent":"Wow!
