At our school the students go to the playground for recess. For some of my students they have been going to the same playground for the past 5 years. They get board with the slide and monkey bars and then the maladaptive behaviors begin. Instead of getting into trouble they will be able to use the footballs, swing balls, and the items in the recess pack. The recess items will help my students not only use some of their excess energy but it will help them with teamwork, something they really need to focus on. These are kids that need to have their energy focused in a positive and productive manner.
