Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students are brand new to being in a structured classroom outside of daycare. They may not have had access to scientific experiments. Some have not been exposed to sensory exploration.

The items in this project will give my students an opportunity to test out questions that they have in a safe environment.

The Can-Do Science kits are fun with easy-to-follow picture instructions on how to create their own science project. The sensory bins and squishy foam beads will encourage language development and fine motor skills.

The Magna-Tiles will open up their creativity to build and see how magnets connect and repel one another. The 1-2-3 Build sets will give the children multiple toys to build on their own.
