The snacks help them finish out the day strong. The amount of snacks that were purchased are definitely the groups favorite. Everyday they get to re-charge their brains after working hard with a snack of choice. Since most of my students don't bring a snack from home and only eat what our school provides, they truly enjoy a nice snack. \r\n\r\nAs for the other classroom supplies (calming corner, bulletin board themes), the children loved to see their new space. The calming corner bean bag chair is a bit hit and it allows each student to have a place to relax, read, regulate, or just chill. The bulletin board decor has made the classroom \"our space\" and makes for a good conversation piece. When promoting reading, small tokens like these help immensely! The book covering supplies were also extremely helpful. I got the first paperback books of the year and covered them immediately. This will surely make our books even longer. I also started the school year with a box of damaged books from last year. The book tape and hinge tape helped me to repair these books and be ready for the students when they came back! Therefore, I was able to purchase new books for the students, in lieu of simply replacing the old, damaged books.\r\n Thank you again for your generous donation!
