As a newer speech-language pathologist, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to build a therapy space filled with hands-on, engaging materials that help my students learn, practice, and grow.\r\n\r\nThe play-based therapy materials, including magnetic tiles, a race track, and an animal clinic, have already made a meaningful difference for our youngest learners. These materials have been especially helpful with my new kindergarten and first-grade students as we build early language skills through play. Students are able to practice vocabulary, following directions, describing, answering questions, taking turns, and using language to interact with others—all while engaged in activities that feel fun and natural.\r\n\r\nThe Pigs on Trampolines game has quickly become a student favorite! It provides a fun reward after completing speech sound or language practice, but it also creates opportunities for students to work together, take turns, communicate, and practice good sportsmanship. The prize box materials have also been incredibly valuable for students who are not motivated by games. These tangible rewards allow me to celebrate positive behavior, effort, and productive learning in a way that is meaningful to each individual student.\r\n\r\nThe mouth model has been another especially useful tool. Many of my speech sound students benefit from seeing, touching, and physically exploring how sounds are produced. Having a hands-on model allows me to provide multimodal instruction and gives students a concrete way to connect what they see and feel with the speech sounds they are practicing.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these materials have transformed my therapy room into a more interactive, hands-on, and engaging learning environment. My students have more opportunities to actively participate in their therapy rather than simply sitting and practicing. Community members and families have also been able to use the table when visiting and walking through our garden. It has become a small but important part of making our garden feel welcoming and shared by everyone.\r\n\r\nThe **sanitizing wipes** were especially helpful during our end-of-year garden harvest party, allowing us to safely prepare and enjoy the fruits of our students' hard work. The **wooden paint paddle stirrers** became a creative learning tool as students decorated them and used them to label vegetables and fruits throughout the garden. This simple supply helped turn our garden into an even more engaging, student-created learning space.\r\n\r\nOur **rain gauge** has also opened the door to wonderful hands-on learning. Students have been able to monitor how much rain we receive and use that information to think about when and how much the garden needs to be watered. What started as a gardening tool naturally became a math opportunity as students measured, compared, and discussed rainfall.\r\n\r\nFinally, the **fertilizer** helped our plants grow strong and healthy throughout the season. Students were able to see firsthand how caring for plants, providing the right nutrients, and paying attention to their growing conditions can make a difference.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for your support.
