With decorations tied into our \"Leveling Up in 6th Grade\" theme, the room feels fun, organized, and welcoming. Students often mention how much easier it is to stay focused when they have the tools they need, and the bright, engaging space makes them proud of where they learn each day.\r\n\r\nAlready, we've put the supplies to use in math lessons on fractions and ratios. Students are working in groups to create visual models, solve problems, and present their strategies to their peers. Their confidence is growing, and they're excited to continue \"leveling up\" in math with the help of these materials. Thanks to your kind donations, I was able to fill out my shelves with books that the students can use in class or take home to continue fostering their love for reading. Several of the books are particularly popular, especially from the graphic novels like Hooky by Miriam Bonastre Tur, as students ask and wait for a student to return it so that they can get a chance to enjoy it. \r\nStudents get a chance to choose a book after completing assignments to read in class, or are welcome to grab a book at any time and take it home with them.
