My students come from a wide range of backgrounds. In fact, over 25 different languages other than English are spoken in our school. My students are energetic and hard-working regardless of the economic hardships their families may have. Each week they research historic events in the school library, and create pieces for their live broadcast on Fridays. They have even taken on a new segment for their broadcast called "Meet the Staff" where they create their own questions and conduct interviews of any staff member they choose. Having a portable PA system would enhance their school broadcast as they continue to expand the broadcast and improve their public speaking skills.
