Students are using the rewards as motivation to complete their work, participate in lessons, show improvement, and make positive choices throughout the school day. One of my favorite moments is seeing students realize that their hard work has earned them a reward—they are excited, proud, and eager to share their accomplishments with their classmates. When my students first saw the rewards, they were excited and immediately started talking about what they could do to earn them. This has helped create a classroom environment where students encourage one another and celebrate success.
