Who doesn't love art and science. Sadly for many classrooms, it is being cut out because we simply don't have time. Well I believe it is worth it and for some of my students, this is what they excel at the most. Art and science allow students to connect to content on a different level than our more traditional forms of teaching. For many of my students, it is a favorite part of their week; however, for moms it is a dreaded day. It is the day that clothes come home dirty and stained. These smocks will keep parents and students happy by providing a way for us to dive into art and science projects with less mess. We will be able to slip them on quickly over our clothes and get right into painting, making slime, mixing colors and more. Their ability to wipe clean easily will be a time saver during clean up and their durable construction will allow us to use them for years to come. It will also save me from going around and scrambling to clean clothes the best I can when a mess does happen. We will be a happier and cleaner class with these paint smocks.
