In math, we have been able to print manipulatives that students can physically touch, move, and use to better understand challenging concepts. Being able to create tools specifically for the skills we are learning has made math more engaging and has helped students visualize concepts that can otherwise be difficult to understand from a textbook or worksheet.\r\n\r\nThe 3D printer has also been a valuable resource for science instruction. We have been able to create science manipulatives and models that allow students to explore concepts in a more interactive way. Instead of simply looking at pictures or diagrams, students can examine and manipulate three-dimensional models. This has encouraged curiosity, discussion, and deeper understanding while giving students opportunities to learn through doing.\r\n\r\nFinally, the 3D printer has been a wonderful motivational tool in our classroom. I have been able to print small prizes and personalized items that students can earn for demonstrating positive behaviors, reaching goals, or showing growth. These little rewards have made students excited about their accomplishments and have helped build a positive classroom community.
