The majority of what I have requested is books. Books are a great teaching resources as they help expand on vocabulary and teach social skills that help students succeed. I am also requesting a laminator so that I can create sturdy lessons that will help reinforce what is taught in the books. I am also getting games as they teach vital social skills such as turn taking, communication, and how to win or lose gracefully. As we build upon these skills we are also helping students gain emotion connections with others as well as how to manage their own emotions.

About my class
