Thanks to your donation, our students have been able to explore and grow through hands-on STEM learning experiences that truly bring curiosity and creativity to life. The materials you provided have transformed our classroom into a space filled with excitement, innovation, and discovery.\r\n\r\nMy students eagerly look forward to our STEM time each week. They work together to build, design, and solve problems—collaborating in ways that strengthen both their critical thinking and teamwork skills. It's incredible to watch their confidence grow as they test their ideas, learn from mistakes, and celebrate their successes. Your kindness has not only enriched their learning but has also inspired them to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and innovators.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom and for investing in these young learners. Your generosity has made a lasting difference, and we are so grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1755735640297,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-collaborative-stem-learning/9612827/","projectTitle":"Hands-on Collaborative STEM Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Rynearson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7476651"},{"teacherId":9917625,"projectId":9101365,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of sensory items to my classroom! Your support has made a meaningful difference, and I wanted to give you a glimpse into how these new resources are being used.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new sensory materials, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They immediately wanted to explore and use the items—especially the different textured sensory pads and the fidget toys. One of my students, when given the chance to be the first to use one of the new sensory tools, exclaimed how lucky and grateful they felt.\r\n\r\nIt was a heartwarming moment for me as a teacher to witness such genuine gratitude and excitement—especially from students who don't typically express those emotions so openly. It truly showed me how something so simple could bring both joy and calm into our learning space and for that I cant thank you enough. \r\n\r\nI've incorporated these sensory items into our weekly routines—whether it's during independent or group work, or when a student is experiencing big emotions and needs a break. These tools have been incredibly effective in helping students stay regulated and focused. For example, during a recent group reading activity, one student used a donated fidget ring. It helped them stay engaged and manage their energy, allowing them to participate more comfortably and effectively. This is just one of the many ways your donation has made a positive and meaningful impact in our classroom.\r\n\r\nSome of the next steps that have come from this generous donation include a self-regulation project we're working on in class. Students—especially those on the autism spectrum—are learning to recognize their own emotional needs and choose the right sensory tools to support themselves, whether they're feeling frustrated, angry, sad, or overwhelmed. These materials have already played a key role in helping me lead meaningful social-emotional lessons while giving students the confidence and strategies to take charge of their own learning.\r\n\r\nWords can't express how truly thankful my students and I are for this donation. The sensory items are used daily—if not weekly—and they've made a tremendous difference. As a first-year teacher, your support has provided not only resources, but also knowledge and tools that will benefit both me and my students for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1739212939111,"projectUrl":"project/support-through-sensory/9101365/","projectTitle":"Support Through Sensory","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mak","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9917625_orig.png?crop=272,272,x37,y64&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1738816673991","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9917625"},{"teacherId":8799688,"projectId":9042141,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support! They were grateful for the new addition to our classroom and they really have taken great care of them. I know that they will be used for many, many years in our 4th grade classroom.\r\nThese Seat Sacks have saved us so much transition time!
