I work in a first-grade classroom so I will be using the LCD writing tablets when we are doing our Reading Horizons phonics program. It will also be very helpful to not have to worry about markers and them writing on themselves or the marker drying out. They will be able to quickly grab their tablet and be ready to go. I will also be using the tiles up on my whiteboard with phonics as we learn to tap and blend words out. I can easily manipulate them and they can tell the difference between vowels and consonants. I think these will really help me in my small groups as well being able to have them write so I can see the sounds that they are hearing.
