We have had indoor recesses due to poor weather, class rewards and individual rewards for free-time or fun Fridays. My students were so excited to be able to have multiple puzzles to choose from.\r\n\r\nWe have also utilized the sensory toys in our calm down corner where students are able to go when they are struggling with big feelings. Our STEM activities are a great resource for students when they get free-time or for fun Fridays. We have also used it for our calm down corner at times as well. The students really enjoy the hands on experiences and sensory experience they have with these tools.\r\n\r\nThe headphones are used daily in all our tasks. We have used them with our testing, for daily math and reading practices, and when doing coding. This project had a lot of fairly boring, but essential supplies we use every day in our room. It was so nice to begin the year knowing I had the things already that my students need. I was able to get pencil pouches, loads of cardstock and colored paper for projects and notes home, clear paper pouches we use every day in math, and oodles of whiteboard markers. Headphones are used almost daily in my classroom and they wear out quickly.
