These materials will be used to keep my students continue their social-emotional and academic learning by helping us keep our classroom clean, which will allow all of us to be in the classroom. Masks and wipes will directly go to keep us safe. Flexible seating and a good book promote learning in ways that traditional seating cannot. I have students who prefer to sit on the floor, but they need a place to work effectively while doing so. Many of my students don't have access to books at home, so providing them a book will allow them to practice their reading at home. Graphic Novels allow ALL students access to reading because it provides access to both pictures (which provides context) and words. Interactive play allows children to learn more fully. With these supplies, we will be able to create math games to more fully promote learning.
