With new bean bags and a vertical bookshelf, our students now have the freedom to collaborate, reflect, and create in ways that just weren't possible with traditional seating.\r\n\r\nThe addition of cozy, movable seating allows students to take a break from rigid desks and find the best space for their needs—whether that's brainstorming with peers, diving into edits, or simply taking a quiet moment to reset. Even one of our administrators came in and tried them out. Now I'm hoping to add at least 2 more beanbags next year. \r\n\r\nI try very hard to keep our classroom oganized and the bookshelf is perfect. It will proudly display our student-created publications and keep them easily accessible for inspiration and sharing. \r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the power of creativity, comfort, and student voice. Quickly after the project was fully funded we were able to have our first campus beautification day, in which we not only replaced the dead and vacant landscape in the front of the campus, but we also taught the students on the importance of the plants that had been selected and how they were native to the area and would purposely meant to thrive. With the help of this project, we transformed the area into a welcoming landscape.
