At the end of the lesson, students who demonstrated teamwork and perseverance were able to choose a small prize from the prize box.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were thrilled! They immediately wanted to try the wobble stools and were excited to see the new prizes. They were also amazed that people they had never met cared enough about their education to provide these resources. The materials helped make our classroom feel even more welcoming and special.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using the printer to create hands-on reading and math activities. Students will rotate through small-group stations where they will practice multiplication, problem-solving, reading comprehension, and vocabulary skills. I have been wanting to do that since the beginning of the school year, but I just did not have the funds for furniture. I use the prizes to incentivize my students to do homework to win a raffle.
