A hydroponic system will demonstrate to my students alternative growing methods we can use in the inner city. Though, the students would not be able to have it in their home they could watch videos and watch the plants grow as they study other alternate farming methods. The lesson would not only be about hydroponics but I Tina I’ve organic farming methods, including greenhouse, no till, and other sustainable farming methods that help restore the soil. This would teach students to be more aware of where their food comes from, as well as the impact of pesticides on the heath of the plant, farmers, and the consumers!
