Having updated, engaging books has also helped students practice stamina and critical thinking as they read both independently and in small groups.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an active, joyful experience. Students choose books that interest them, participate in guided reading discussions, and share recommendations with one another. The new books have sparked curiosity and conversation, making reading time something students genuinely look forward to each day rather than viewing it as an assignment.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who were previously reluctant readers are especially excited about these new additions. They are more eager to pick up a book, talk about what they are reading, and even read during free moments.
