My students are highly motivated by technology. The days of paper and pencil, just aren't engaging enough for our students anymore. However, the majority of my teaching materials are still pencil/paper based. This project will allow me to make resources interactive through the use of technology. I imagine myself taking those 'paper and pen' resources, and uploading them via iPad, into many different tech medias. Having my resources and activities more readily available, will benefit students and parents alike. Absent students will be able to access their assignments without getting a paper copy from me. Parents will also be able to gain a better sense of what their child is learning in school. I believe that teaching students how to use technology and how they can 'work' in different programs will make my students more successful in life after school.
