The children were so excited to use the chairs when they arrived. They liked trying out each seat and chose which seat they liked most. The students were immediately more motivated to sit down when they saw that they could move around / bounce in their new chair. The use of these sensory chairs have assisted the children in remaining in their seats for longer periods of time and have helped them increase their attention span, as they are getting the sensory input children with autism need so desperately. When working in their chairs, the children are able to bounce and/or move around, without having to get up to do so. Due to this increase in their attention span and ability to attend to tasks for longer periods of time, the students are learning new skills more effectively and are maintaining these skills for longer periods of time. The children need less breaks from sitting down and are actually excited to sit in their new chairs. \r\n\r\nThese seats have truly assisted every child in my class with meeting with increased success in all skill areas and we are all extremely grateful. Again, thank you again for helping my students meet with optimal success in their education.
