This technology helps my students stay engaged, confident, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nI am grateful that the headphones give my students greater confidence and independence in the classroom. Students, particularly at the younger grade levels, are greatly enjoying the opportunity to code, and are also learning valuable comprehension skills. The robot coding activities you see in the attached pictures require students to comprehend the directions, find each step from a menu, and sequence them appropriately. These skills, practiced with a fun interactive robot, will be useful across all their academic subjects!\r\n\r\nStudents are particularly excited by the robots' interactivity. The first time they sequence a code correctly and the robot responds, the students react with joy and excitement as the robot glides across the table, changes colors, and even talks to them!\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part is that the stories and pictures I am sharing are simply from my first visit of what will be a tour across our entire district! I cannot wait to see how students at other schools react to our exciting new robots. Students love \"shopping\" with their hard-earned tickets, and the rewards have helped build excitement and positivity in our daily routines.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their reactions were priceless. Several of them gasped, a few immediately asked how many tickets they needed to save, and many said, \"Are these really for us?\" Their enthusiasm created a joyful buzz in the room that hasn't faded.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're working through multi-step equations and preparing to move into real-world problem solving. In my ELA classroom, the rolling cart and storage bins have been such a game changer. They've made it so much easier to keep everything organized and within reach, which saves us a lot of time during class. Instead of digging through piles or waiting for me to pass things out, students can go right to the bins for the supplies they need. The cart also moves around the room, so whether we're working in small groups or doing stations, everything we need is right there.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited when they first saw the cart and bins set up because it gave them a sense of ownership over the classroom. They like knowing where things belong and being able to grab what they need without asking me every time. During writing workshops, for example, they can go straight to the bin with graphic organizers or peer review sheets and get started right away.
