Every day, students use the notebooks, pens, and pencils you provided to take notes about ecosystems, natural resources, and the anatomy of the human body. I love watching them all as they learn important note-taking skills that will help them study throughout high school and into college. They use the folders you provided to organize their vocabulary maps, their old labs and tests, unfinished assignments, and loose notes. For every student to have a designated folder has kept our classroom organized and also helps them to keep track of their progress, grades, and study materials. Moreover, it helps me, because I don't have to organize and keep track of every student's unfinished assignments, looking through files to get them their missing work before grades are due. They are simply able to grab their own folder and find what they still need to submit for credit. This gives them ownership of their school assignments and gives them a sense of independence that is crucial to development as they grow throughout high school. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the crayons, markers, rulers, and glue you provided have helped my students create some beautiful projects that showcase their learning and allow them to add some personal style into their school assignments. Recently, I had some of my anatomy students do a project on diseases of the skeletal system. They used the rulers and art supplies provided by your generous donations to carefully draw lines, bones, and write information about diseases like osteoporosis and scoliosis. \r\n\r\nWe cannot thank you enough for your generous donation.
