The lightweight cushions are perfect because the students pick them up and carry them to their chosen area with their book boxes. They get so cozy and read for 20 minutes at a time. Sometimes they read with a partner on the rug and they are so engrossed in reading that they groan when the timer goes off because they don't want to stop. \r\n\r\nThe big chairs and new books are also a hit! There is just such a love and feeling of comfort around reading in this classroom and our library space is the heart of it.
