Most kids use screens at home just to watch videos or play games, but this printer shows them that technology is something they can actually use to create. Even our third graders have learned how to use the touchscreen to independently print the stock designs saved on the machine, and I plan on bringing our first and second graders in to do the exact same thing soon. Watching a physical object build layer by layer right in front of them gives them an amazing, concrete connection to how digital files work.\r\n\r\nWe've also just started introducing Tinkercad to our middle school students, exploring the site together and talking through how 3D space works so they can prepare for future designs. This setup has especially connected with our hands-on, visual learners. Students who are usually quiet or hesitant during traditional lessons are suddenly locked in, asking tons of questions and constantly peeking into the printer enclosure to see how the machine operates.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just buy our classroom a piece of hardware—it gave our students a brand-new reason to be curious, engaged, and excited about what technology can do.
