With these books, they got to learn about more palentologists, got to lern about different dinosaurs that we didn't learn about, and gainn more details about where we can find dinosaur bones.\r\n\r\nThese books were also useful because we had gone on a field trip to a museum that had a whole section dedicated to dinosaur fossils, dioramas, videos, and other things that have to do with paleontology. Copying other resources such as weekly homework and things like field trip forms also take up a large amount of paper each month. Thanks to this project I have been able to have enough copy paper in the classroom to print out all of the resources that I need daily to have a successful classroom.\r\n\r\nHaving cleaning wipes is another resource that my classroom goes through quickly. We use them twice a week to clean all desk and door surfaces to keep the germ count low. Thank you for also replenishing our soap and hand sanitizer. I try to focus the videos on what we are learning in Math or Science at the time so that they can understand the concepts better.\r\n\r\nI have also used Generation Genius for supporting our Science and Math curriculums. In Math, we have learned about basic math facts and fluency, multi-digit addition and subtraction, and I am now introducing them to skills such as 3-D shapes, fractions, time, and multiplication/arrays. The videos that are on this web site are fantastic to not only give an engaging lesson on these skills but they also apply the knowledge to real-life experiments. The examples that they use relates to using the skill to real life scenarios and I believe it helps my students undertand the concepts better. Wow! The students are so pumped to earn a chance to pick something from the prize box. Believe it or not, this has made a big impact on my students. Students who previously struggled to stay on task now demonstrate a renewed sense of purpose, as the tangible rewards serve as a constant, colorful reminder of what they can achieve through focus and effort. This positive reinforcement has not only increased academic participation but has also made the classroom feel like a space where every small victory is celebrated.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, these prizes have become essential tools for developing social-emotional skills and character building. The students are more mindful of their behavior, practicing patience and kindness in hopes of earning points that allow them to eventually have a turn to pick from the prize box. This incentive system encourages them to take ownership of their actions, teaching them the direct link between responsible decision-making and personal reward. \r\n\r\nFinally, the generosity of this donation has fostered a profound sense of community and gratitude within the classroom. The children are genuinely moved by the idea that someone invested in their success, which has prompted meaningful discussions about the importance of giving back.
