Our school nurse’s office is a busy, caring space that serves approximately 400–500 students. From routine health screenings and addressing everyday health concerns to supporting students with individual medical needs, our goal is to help every child feel safe, healthy, and ready to learn. I work closely with parents and guardians, doctors’ offices, and school staff to ensure our students receive the care and support they need. I also provide health education in classrooms to help students learn about their bodies, healthy habits, illness prevention, and the importance of taking care of themselves. Our nurse’s office is special because it is a place where students can find comfort, compassion, and support when they need it most. Every day brings different needs and challenges, but our mission remains the same: to promote student wellness, build healthy habits, and remove health-related barriers to learning so every student has the opportunity to thrive.
