It started our year off great by helping us to be prepared to learn and have a successful year. Our expos and dry erasers have been a staple in our math warm ups. Students really enjoy the way they can work the math out on their desk. \r\n\r\nWe have already done two watercolor projects with our watercolor paper. Kids got to create something they were proud of and share it with families. The sharpies and tape also worked great here by helping the kids make a border on their art and sharpies for fine details. \r\n\r\nThe filing drawer has helped me to be more organized, which in turn has been a benefit for the students as I am more prepared with handouts, lesson materials, items for substitutes, etc. \r\n\r\nIn addition to all of this, the students love our amazing new automatic pencil sharpener. It works great on colored pencils and continues to keep kids prepared for the day by being able to sharpen pencils quickly and efficiently. \r\n\r\nCannot express my gratitude enough. The Donors Choose funding has made this year start off excellent.
