From the moment these students walk in, they will feel like it is their space. That it is welcoming and not cluttered. By having cart storage my students will have a place for their educational materials. The lap seats and fidget bands provide an opportunity for students who have a hard time sitting still to have a flexible seating option. Or if they want to stay at their desk then they can use a chair fidget band to help keep them calm and focused on their learning. The post-it paper will provide a space for students and myself to create anchor charts for our classroom. The sharpener and expo pens will make it easier for students to come to school prepared to learn and their desks are dry erase, so they can use the expo pens right on their desks!
