The math stacker blocks have truly been a wonderful addition to our daily learning, and I cannot thank you enough for your support.\r\n\r\nSince introducing the math stacker blocks, I have been able to use them in a variety of ways that support all of my learners. During whole group instruction, the blocks allow me to model math concepts in a hands-on, visual way. This has made a noticeable difference in how well my students understand foundational skills such as counting, addition, subtraction, and number relationships. Instead of just hearing or seeing the math, they are actively building and exploring it, which makes the learning much more meaningful.\r\n\r\nThese blocks have also been especially helpful for students who need additional support with basic math skills. I am able to work with small groups and provide targeted instruction using the stackers, giving students the opportunity to physically manipulate numbers and better grasp concepts at their own pace. This hands-on approach has helped build their confidence and has made math feel more accessible and less intimidating.\r\n\r\nOne of the things I love most about these math stacker blocks is their versatility. I can use them for whole group lessons, small group interventions, math centers, and even independent practice. Whether we are working on simple number recognition or more complex problem-solving skills, the blocks can be adapted to meet the needs of all learners in my classroom.\r\n\r\nAnother wonderful benefit is the level of engagement they bring to our lessons. My students are excited to use the blocks and look forward to math time each day. They enjoy building, exploring, and learning together, which creates a positive and collaborative classroom environment. It is amazing to see how something as simple as a set of math blocks can spark curiosity, encourage participation, and foster a love of learning.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students are gaining valuable skills that will support their success not only this year but in the years to come. You have helped create opportunities for deeper understanding, increased confidence, and meaningful learning experiences in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your thoughtful donation and for believing in my students. Your support truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1763594750460,"projectUrl":"project/math-thinkers-in-action/9893498/","projectTitle":"Math Thinkers in Action","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ward","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5357227_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x389,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753240728535","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-v-ward"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87401","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":474,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":57,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":46,"percentIndigenous":20,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 1","studentTeacherRatio":"16.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.3,"schoolId":87401,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Marrs Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Marrs Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/skiatook-public-schools/marrs-elementary-school/87401"}
