At my previous school, the students were so excited to come to school each day to watch, discuss and study the process of seeing an egg become a chick and then what it takes to care for the chicks, how to control voices as to not scare them and how they change as they grow. They take turns feeding and caring for the young chicks and fosters a classroom camaraderie. This truly gives even the youngest learners a true hands-on experience which they will carry with them throughout their lives.

About my class
