This project will supply materials to enhance students' focus with an outlet for their wiggles. Through these materials, my students will have multiple flexible seating options to meet each of their needs! Flexible seating fosters independence, choice, and self-regulation that is crucial for first-grade students! Students will have the opportunity to use our flexible seating options during all of our daily learning activities. With the addition of these materials, students can choose from a wiggle disc, floor cushion, stool, work mat, and a traditional chair. Flexible seating gives my students a choice and a voice in how they learn best in our classroom!
