They then used what they discovered to design and build a colorful \"paper garden\" filled with the plants and flowers that best support pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.\r\n\r\nThe project didn't stop there—each student also wrote about their garden, explaining how the plants they chose would help pollinators survive and thrive. This hands-on activity gave them a chance to combine science, art, and writing in one project. More importantly, it helped them see the real-world impact of protecting pollinators in our environment.\r\n\r\nYour gift turned research into something visible, tangible, and inspiring for my students.
