One of our problems in our state for our student is the weather. When kids are unable to go outside, usually they come to the classroom to watch an educational video or movie. Kids need to be able to stretch their minds while having fun. Sitting still for long periods of time during recess and then sitting still again for instruction can make for a long day. These games and activities will be used during those blistery cold and rainy days when students are unable to stretch their legs. The games provide cognitive thinking skills and allow the kids to move and have some fun, taking a short break from learning, but stretching their cognitive skills while gaming. Sometimes, kids have just got to be kids!
