They then used what they discovered to design and build a colorful \"paper garden\" filled with the plants and flowers that best support pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.\r\n\r\nThe project didn't stop there—each student also wrote about their garden, explaining how the plants they chose would help pollinators survive and thrive. Thanks to your generous contribution, our classroom is now equipped with essential materials that will make a profound difference in the lives of our Pre-K students.\r\n\r\nAs an educator dedicated to fostering a love for learning at an early age, I understand that building a strong foundation for literacy is crucial for future academic success. The Science of Reading approach, which emphasizes explicit phonics instruction, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension, is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. This research-based methodology ensures that young learners gain the essential skills they need to become proficient readers and confident learners. \r\n\r\nThe materials purchased for this project will empower students to engage in meaningful, hands-on learning. These materials have truly allowed us to make a difference in their learning.\r\n Over the past few months, these materials have allowed us to create a multitude of projects and take-home packets for them to work on. Some of there favorite assignments are the writing projects we do in class every month. They are eager to participate and with each project I see amazing growth in each of them. Because of this, with our most recent project many of them were able to write small sentences in English completely on their own.
