Their faces lit up as they explored everything and began using the materials together. They were eager to take turns, share with one another, and find creative ways to play. It has been wonderful to watch them encourage each other and learn that playing together can be just as much fun as playing independently.\r\nThese new materials have made such a positive impact on my students' imagination and creativity. They are using open-ended play to create their own stories, build new ideas, and use their imaginations in ways that encourage problem-solving and communication. These opportunities give my students a chance to take a brain break while still learning and growing. I am so grateful to the DonorsChoose donors who made these experiences possible for my students. These resources have made such a difference for our students! Our soccer program is still growing, and having the proper equipment allows our students to practice, prepare, and play with confidence. The students were so excited to see the new equipment arrive, especially the new goal nets and practice balls. They couldn't wait to get outside and start using them!\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments has been watching our students work together during practice. They are learning that soccer is about much more than kicking a ball—it requires communication, teamwork, perseverance, and encouragement. Having enough practice balls allows more students to be involved and active instead of waiting for a turn. The new goal nets also give our players a better opportunity to practice shooting and scoring in a setting that feels more like a real game.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our season, our students will keep building their skills and learning what it means to be a team. We are excited to see their confidence grow as they practice, compete, encourage one another, and represent our school. We use the items every day in reading and writing, and we have seen a significant improvement in our reading scores and our cursive handwriting.\r\n Every day we use the page protectors to hold our reading passage and dry erase markers to keep track of our reading fluency when we partner read. We can mark errors and reading time without wasting paper. We just wipe off the dry erase marks made and do it again! By practicing every day using these tools, our reading just gets better and better. We also use the dry erase markers and page protectors to practice cursive handwriting. Students feel confident after practicing and have begun writing cursive exclusively in class as a result. Since it is one of our academic standards in 4th grade, these tools have been especially helpful in handwriting.\r\n Finally, thank you for the headphones and markers. We create anchor charts as a visual tool for reading skills with the markers, and we use educational programs on the chromebooks that require headphones. All of your generous donations have been put to good use and have definitely improved our mastery of skills this school year.","fullyFundedDate":1769191999289,"projectUrl":"project/wonders-of-reading-and-writing-in-4th-gr/9934269/","projectTitle":"Wonders of Reading and Writing in 4th Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. O'Neal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10056758"},{"teacherId":8513259,"projectId":9909765,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support in enhancing our classroom with essential technology resources. Your contributions have significantly impacted our students' learning experiences, allowing them to dive deeper into their studies with enthusiasm and focus.\r\nMany of you may use technology at home, but its role in our classroom is truly transformative. The Chromebook charging cart ensures that each student has a fully charged device at all times, eliminating the stress and disruptions caused by dead batteries or misplaced devices. This seamless access to technology allows our students to engage in digital lessons and activities without delay, fostering a continuous and productive learning environment. The ability to transition smoothly between tasks helps our students remain engaged and encourages them to take responsibility for managing their own devices.\r\nThe excitement among our students about the new class set of headphones is palpable. The headphones create a personalized learning space for each student, allowing them to focus on their tasks without distractions. Whether they're listening to engaging stories, practicing math skills, or conducting research, the headphones enable them to concentrate and learn at their own pace. This tailored approach not only boosts their confidence but also facilitates independent learning.\r\nWe've noticed that some students, particularly those who struggle with sensory overload, have especially embraced the new technology. With the headphones blocking out background noise, these students are able to focus more effectively and engage with their work in a way that was previously challenging. This newfound ability to concentrate has improved their academic performance and increased their overall enjoyment of learning.\r\nThanks to your support, our classroom is now a more organized, focused, and dynamic learning space. Your generosity has empowered our students to explore, create, and grow with confidence, ensuring that each moment in the classroom counts.","fullyFundedDate":1767046298916,"projectUrl":"project/charged-up-for-success/9909765/","projectTitle":"Charged Up for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Littledeer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8513259_orig.png?crop=1254,1254,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1788372575018","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8513259"},{"teacherId":8312135,"projectId":9604792,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting our class!
