Our classroom is excited to be a place for all learners. Our classroom is an inclusive classroom, which means we bring together children with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and strengths. Some of our students are developing typically, while others may have significant developmental delays. What makes this setting so powerful is that all students learn with and from one another. In our class, every child is seen as a valued and capable learner. We believe that children grow best in a community where differences are celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute. Research and experience show us that inclusive classrooms help all students build empathy, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and respect for others. All of this would not be possible without the tools and materials we need.
